Education & Licenses
In 2014 Rebecca graduated with her Psychology degree from UC Davis. She then went on to get her Masters degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lewis and Clark College in Portland in 2017 where she specialized in eating disorders. Rebecca is also trained in PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, and the Gottman Method. She is licensed in Washington with her Mental Health Counselor Associate License and offers individual, family, and couples counseling.
Why she is here
Rebecca is excited to see patients at Zara Clinic because she believes in a holistic approach to care. She loves being a counselor because she is able to hold space for the vulnerability of being human. She is always amazed at how resilient clients are, and believes everyone deserves health and happiness. She is passionate about her belief that everyone has everything inside them to achieve their goals.
What else
When Rebecca isn’t helping patients, she loves to spend time with animals, especially her cat and horses. She also loves to be in nature as well as spending time with her family and friends.
